Avoiding The Bay and trying to work the wardrobe...

trying not to be tempted by Ariadne's post yesterday - and focus on working what's in my closet already!
This is a little more body con that what I normally wear, but it is warm and comfy!
Footwear looks a little boring to me - but maybe I have enough going on already with the patterned shirt and belt? Thoughts and comments greatly appreciated!

B/W flannel shirt - Joe Fresh, Legging Jean -GAP, Belt, Boots - Zara.

I like the footwear choice, and the black all over with pattern peeking out is nice. The fit is great, still abot loose, but fitted. Looks really great on you!

Luckily, we have no Bay here, so I don't need to avoid it!

I love it! I like the pattern mixing and the "body con" silhouette is very flattering. Avoid the Bay at sale time! They don't have enough fitting rooms and there always seems to be a lack of cash registers too.

Fabulous. I LOVE that belt. I need to get me to a Zara.

I am also avoiding the Bay. Not that there is anything there (in Kingston) to tempt me seriously. But still....

There was literally nobody else in the fitting room or at the cash register with me at the Bay--probably because they couldn't find them in the first place. Oh, Bay. You are going to be in such big trouble when Nordstrom opens.

Who needs new things when you're able to make your closet work so well for you?

I think this looks great as-is (translation: to my taste) but you could always try more footwear options if desired.

Confession time - my dear SO needed a haircut yesterday (didn't seem to want my help - what's with that?) so off to the mall we went. I did have a quick browse thru the Bay ...total chaos in the shoe dept. Boxes of boots and shoes everywhere with no organization wrt sizing. other depts not much better. Was able to resist without any effort!
Pil- So observant! There's a lot of b/w toppers in my wardrobe, but I rarely go sooo black.
Kiwichik - yeah I could imagine boots like that...
KC - I think my closet would fit you very well! I'm looking forward to seeing what else you have in yours!
