Anniversary dress - something old

Shopping my dress collection, I found a dress that always makes me happy to wear because I bought it to celebrate my 20th wedding anniversary with DH 5 years ago.

We went out to a flash restaurant and had a baby sitter for our then 5 year old.

I wore my dress to work with my pink faux fur and blush bag and 6 year old mauve heels.

My 25th wedding anniversary is in December - I have posted a picture of the silver wedding anniversary dress. I am planning on wearing silver heels with the dress. Apologies about looking dishevelled, I was in a rush getting changed, as I had to get out of my work clothes and into my exercise gear to make a class.

Oh WOW, both dresses are gorgeous Bijou! I love the structure and neckline on the red dress (stunning colour on you too, and perfect with the pink and lilac). And that floral print, and again, a fantastic neckline on your new anniversary dress!! It's going to look amazing with silver shoes (but very fun with the magenta ones too).

Bella - thanks so much. I just fell in love with both dresses at the time and as luck would have it, both fitted perfectly.

Lisa - I think I am lucky to have a few brands that have a good fit for me. On the other hand, there are plenty of brands that do not work for me at all. I tend to shop in smaller boutiques and get to know the staff who recommend styles that they think will work for me.

i like the 1st outfit outfit, just not really feeling the shoes w it. the dress is really pretty. just switch the accessories and you can wear it to many occasions.

2nd outfit is straight from red carpet. the dress is absolutely gorgeous & i actually like it w the heels you're already wearing + some silver jewelry, looks great in my head.
