TG - the red bag has been a fun addition and quite versatile, much more so than what I first expected. In the 80's my Mum carried a red bag, so I think I love it because of that.
Fashintern - these are the new shoes and thrilled that they are working out so well.
Cindysmith - the skirt is actually little yellow flowers with a red centre, but it does look like leopard print. No wonder I was drawn to it, leopard is well represented in my closet - lol - and to think I thought I was going for something different!
Mirjana - yes the 'Angie elements' really make this look.
Dana - thank you!
RobinF - yes I finally found some nude shoes that work. My nude pumps are not nearly as comfortable so I only wear them when I know I don't have lots of walking.
LisaP - it is so interesting what you see in a photo that does not seem apparent in the mirror. I am finding WIW's to be quite instructive. So glad you like this outfit and it is good to know how to improve it in the future.
Cardiff Girl - I am looking forward to wearing it with the orange - it will be a really fun look to wear.
Angie - thank you for the inspiration and also the encouragement to improve my style. It has reinvigorated my enjoyment of my wardrobe in a way that I had not felt since becoming a Mum.
Suz - I don't know why I always steered clear of yellow. Possibly memories of wearing yellow and black and some boy called me a bumble bee in my teens. I am really enjoying having some yellow as it is such a happy colour.
Katerina - thrilled that you like it!
Smittie - yay for the bag, it took a very long time to find the right shade of red for me. I really like this colour which is much lighter than many darker reds.
Jussi - thank you. I really love your style.
Sal - yes to comfy clothing, especially at work as I hate feeling like I am all crumpled by the time I get home.
The Cat - although I wear dresses a lot, it is great to have a skirt to play with, especially one that is long as lately so many have been short.
Suntiger - that is high praise indeed.
Ummlila - I can see you in this skirt, especially as you have added quite a bit of yellow to your wardrobe recently.
Shevia - yes inspired by is far nicer!
