Happy Valentine's Day! When I saw Angie's wonderful "Weekly Roundup: Hints of Spring" I noticed a Karen Millen blouse she posted which looked very similar to a Zara white knit top I purchased a couple of months ago. Originally, I'd planned to post a WIW there, but it seems just as fitting to post it here for Valentine's Day.

In her description for that item, Angie mentioned pairing it with black pants, red shoes and a pile of pearls. This then reminded me of her 2010 video on how to double-knot a strand of pearls and I was on my way! I was quite happy with the results and wore this to a Mayor's dinner this past Friday night and may wear it again tonight to dinner at the home of some friends.

Zara white ruffled sweater, Diane von Furstenberg pants, Nordstrom pearls, Report red suede booties (Red was the only color I could find on Amazon when these popular YLF booties were making the rounds.). My hidden power source was my pair of cat and heart socks I bought on a whim. I wore my black Burberry Brit trench coat as a topper.

As usual, I always appreciate your comments. Please take a look, and if you have any other styling suggestions or ideas, I'm always open to hearing them, especially other ways to wear this white top, which is thick and more like a sweater or jumper to others, worldwide. Thank you.
