(Sorry to have been radio silent these past weeks, things got crazy busy here…)

In my previous 2024 style goals post, I had wide-leg denim, and a chambray shirt on my wishlist. Recently, I had the good fortune to come across both, shopping secondhand.

#1 The thrifted chambray vintage shirt is Dolce & Gabbana, from their “&Jeans” line. The dark color makes it look like actual denim, but the fabric is supple, with a slight sheen, and it matches well with mid- and darker wash jeans. It has snap closures and is more fitted than a traditional chambray shirt, which I really dig. And the red topstitching gives it a bit of a western 1950s cowgirl feel. I think this really ticks my “Ralph Lauren Meets Film Noir” vibe I was looking for.

#2 The black jeans are the Paige Brooklyn Crop, from consignment. They are a size larger than I usually wear, so they are more of a sailor pant on me, which thrills me to no end. I don’t care for crop pants on myself because my skinny ankles + crops = canoe feet.

#5-6 are styling ideas I plan to try. I’d wear flats or espadrilles with the mini, not heels.
