My heart skipped a beat when I saw this item. In a word: KILLER. It’s so flattering I could cry. The pockets are perfectly placed for any bust size and it’s got the cheeky factor with this length. Versatile, hip and truly fabulous. Adds the perfect edge to dresses and skirts. Must get!

Distressed Denim Jacket (also Petite/Plus)
The fit on this jacket is great and the quality not bad at all. It’s the perfect way to dress down a dress or smart ensemble. Grey denim is going to work especially well with blue items (sometimes, blue denim is a little much when worn with blue). Think of how yummy this will look over a turquoise dress! Remember that you’re after a cheeky look with a denim jacket, so go petite if you need a shorter length.
Basic Denim Jacket (also Petite/Plus)
Every gal needs some type of denim jacket. This particular style is basic and the quality is not bad either. It is rigid, like the Levi’s original that is still in circulation today. Totally stylish and a great price. Think how delicious this will look over a yellow Spring dress! Pop the collar and you’re too cool for school.
Tulle Cropped Spring Peacoat
It’s the buttons that sold me, but the fabric is awfully velvety and the cut is cute when on. I was also quite impressed with the quality and fit at the price. The funnel neck isn’t too high and the double breasted front looks good un-buttoned. I’ve had this style on bustier lasses and small-chested gals and it works surprisingly well on both. I vote the lemon yellow, but it comes in red, grey and black too. Perfect for nippy Spring weather.
INC Ruched Sleeve Turtleneck
Ruched puffy sleeves are not for everyone, but they’re a great little retro trend if you want to have fun with 80’s fashion. Needless to say, I’m all over the look and bought the black in this style. It’s going to be a sublime Spring wardrobe update and I especially love the length of the sleeves. It doesn’t itch. Be warned that the cut does run small.
As I write this the item is on sale for $36.99.
Michael Kors Stripe Icon Circle Top
The asymmetrical boat neck is genius. It’s extremely flattering on both a smaller and larger bust line. I love how the ring detail is alluring yet offers enough coverage. A perfect layering piece and just as nice worn on its own. As a rayon-spandex blend, this item drapes well and does not cling. But you’ll need to like jailbird stripes to like this top. It’s bold.
INC Ruched Short Sleeve Cardigan
It’s probably an acquired taste, but ruched sleeved tops and knitwear are a nice Spring wardrobe update and a great blast from our 80’s past. This non-itch little cardi has a flattering keyhole V-neck opening and great elbow length sleeves. Perfect over a simple camisole, button down shirt, sleeveless shell top or sheath dress. I dare you to give this look another whirl.
Plus Size Peasant Top
The banded top trend was one of the things I was most excited about this season. Easy, comfortable and forgiving around the midriff area. Perfect for over skinnies or straight leg jeans, but just as good over bootcuts. This one comes in a slew of happy colours that are perfect for Spring. But the black looks fabulous too.
Fun Plus Size Cascading Cardigan
The tone-on-tone stripes on this eclectic piece are surprisingly flattering because they face towards the waistline, which draws the eye inward and slims the silhouette. It’s a super shape for both the well endowed and small busted gal. A great layering item and perfect for mild Spring days. Forgiving and comfy, yet cute and trendy. Beware if you’re petite though, as this length will be too long for your short frame.
Trouvé Cowl Neck Tunic
The dropped shoulder on this style makes it flattering for both a strong and narrow shoulder line. The collapsible cowl makes it work on both small-chested and bustier gals. Soft, comfy and perfect both on its own or belted over Ponte knit pants and skinny jeans. I’m not sure whether it will cling on curvier body types because I’ve only had it on rectangles and inverted triangles, but it’s well worth a look because it’s quite roomy around the midriff.
