It’s hard to find a pair of full-length faded skinny jeans, sans rips and tears, that don’t suck the living daylights out of you. But I eventually found them when I tried on these Nikkis. Their looser fit is heavenly and thoroughly modern. Expensive but totally worth it. I’d rather have fewer pairs of jeans that fit exactly how I want them to, than a whole slew of jeans that are almost there. I sized up for a roomier fit, but that’s not essential.

This boyfriend jeans style is very streamlined. In fact, they look more like roomy straight legs than boyfriend jeans. They run true to size, but size up if you prefer a roomier fit. They are 100% cotton so no stretch and lots of authentic denim crunch.

Full-length boyfriend jeans with a 34 inch inseam and tapered hem width. This length works for tall ladies with a little length to spare. You might need to size down if you prefer a less baggy and slouchy style. The hems and lower leg are wider so consider yourself warned if you prefer a streamlined fit. On the other hand, the fit is ideal for larger calves.

Skinnies with a subtle black brocade print. Soft, stretchy and interesting. Two of my clients bought these and are happy with their fit and comfort level. Fab tucked into mid-calf or tall boots.

Hip zippers and contrast knee patches make this style of skinny a breath of fresh air. The fabric is wonderful too. A uniquely smooth and lightweight denim with minimal stretch and no fading. Very polished in an ultra casual way. The rise is high, and they run small.

I was surprised that the waxed finish on these jeans was NOT hard and rubbery. In fact, they are soft. Fitted through the leg but roomy on the waist and tummy area — although the photo does not suggest that fit. These are one alternative to camouflage print. The subtle tonal pattern will work well in refined casual outfits based on dark neutrals.

These roll a little shorter than most boyfriend jeans and are dark denim. They have a relaxed fit, wide waistband and can be worn unrolled too if the mood strikes you. These jeans are a slim fit through the hip and thigh. Some of my clients prefer this fit because they are more streamlined. The price is especially appealing for a casual, kicking-around style. As part of the lower leg is exposed, these are perfect on days when it’s too chilly to wear shorts but too warm for jeans. Also available in tall and petite sizing.
