1) In this post, y'all were kind enough to help me pick what to wear. Although I did need to make some changes. The tux jacket did not look right with the full skirt, so I changed it to my black blazer. I also tucked in the top. It was very cold that night, so I added textured opaque hose instead of sheer. Also wore a new brooch for a bit of holiday bling.
2) Wore red trench coat over top. My dressy coats are these type of rain coats. I don't like to dry clean, so I haven't invested in a wool coat. Plus our winters are usually mild. Is the material too casual? Is the length too short?
3) A month ago, I asked for ideas on what to wear for this party. I was hoping to wear my LBD with some bling, but bloating and holiday indulging required some last minute changes with no time to go shopping. I took a ponte knit dress with a slight a-line and layered over my tulle skirt. Then I added my tux jacket and some shiny silver and pearl accessories. Since I was pretty covered up, I decided to keep my legs bare.
4) I over exposed the pic so you could see where the dress ends with the tulle under layer. What do you think? Did I look like a crazy woman at the party?
