This may be my one go at wearing white in colder months. I loved wearing white jeans, but with so much rain and with riding a bike, it is simply not practical.

But today was warm, sunny, dry and I went to town by bus. So, time to take my white jeans for a spin

The inspiration for this outfit is everywhere - sage-green and dark pink outdoor plants adorn many front gardens around me, and it is a lovely sight. To start things off, I went with my "oldie but goldie" jacket and top, both already worn on Day #3 in this series of outfits. The new shoes, cold days version of my summer espadrilles, hopefully erase seasonal confusion - I personally needed some time to adjust my own eye to wearing white jeans when the temperatures outside are in single digit and the last time I wore white jeans was in the hot summer weather.

Second photo shows the quilted jacket worn as the outerwear.

ETA: The last photo was last-minute addition, created simply by swapping the top part of the outfit for pink sweater, for Angie's thread The Pink Send Off: Thinking of those Affected by Cancer. I loved this sweater and white jeans together so much, that I may actually rethink my position about wearing white in colder months and basically go for any opportunity when it is possible. I've been reminded just how wonderful every colour feels when worn with white.
