A few days ago I bumped at the new blog and after reading about the idea to pair denim with the sleeveless tops, I instantly remembered the silk top I used to wear to the office only, but had no idea how to incorporate into my casual life. It has the pussy-bow tie which I'm quite over as a style, but I still adore the pattern and the play on b&w.

Enter my new white jeans (my second white pair - I went to the outlet shop a week ago to buy any white jeans that I could hack into clamdiggers and what was on the rack but the pair in my size and my length. In the wedge heels.)

The fedora (men's department at H&M - no retail stone unturned, hehe) was a rescue remedy on a bad hair day and welcome protection from the sun.

Happiness factor: 10/10

Question: How do you like the jeans better - rolled or unrolled?

I like both looks -- rolled shows your wedges and unrolled looks nice and long. Great pairing with the silk top! Love the hat too.

This is a fab look. The jeans are great on you. I like the high neck look of the sleeveless top, and the fedora is a bit sporty and then elevates the outfit.

To my eye, unrolled all the way. Are those boot cuts? There was a discussion on the forum recently about how many people are so over boot cuts, but I wear them and still enjoy them, and I think yours are super fab. Maybe it's a tall girl thing. Really like your style, O.

My word -- what a fabulous look, Ornella! That is glorious on you! You do the high contrast white with black so well. And the fedora is the finishing touch. It looks superb on you.

I love what you have done with the neckline of the blouse, tossing the ties backwards.

I like the pants unrolled best. What a lucky find!

I like both the rolled and unrolled versions. The tucked top makes the rolled version work to my eye. My word!!! Amazing to find white jeans in an extra long length. Purchase of the year!

Kyle :: thank you - yes, the high neck is what made this outfit so enjoyable for me among other things. Also, these are straight jeans. I still have two pairs of bootcuts which I occasionally take for a spin. Totally a tall girl thing to hang on to them stubbornly, as they were a nightmare to find

Suz :: thank you. The jeans are a lucky find indeed and a little thinner than my other white jeans, making the other more suitable for colder months. Win-win. Thanks for the fedora-love, I adore it too and was on the hunt for one for a while so my alter-ego Salvatore can come out in Summer too

I like both versions of the pants. The rolled version highlights the playfulness of the shoes, the unrolled highlights your long legs!

You have two delightful options to choose depending on your mood. Rolled cuffs are more casual and show off the shoes. Unrolled focusses more on the top, where I love your elegant solution to the pussybow.

Ornella, I love rolled and unrolled, however I am slightly more partial to unrolled, but think that is more to do with the neat freak in me:) I love the use of the sleeveless blouse to dress up the jeans and I think we have the same sandals:)

Gosh I can't pick, I do like both rolled and unrolled. The rolled shows off the fun ankle straps. And unrolled just makes my boot loving jeans self happy. Nice find with the jeans, they fit great. The fedora photo is too cute!

And I like the *lucky jeans* unrolled myself---because to my eye, the amount of shoe then showing sort of balances the band of the hat (so neat! I want one!) and belt best. (yeah, I'm bizarre like that. Of course it wouldn't be noticeable in motion...)

Deborah :: I know what you mean about 'neat freak'. I think that drives both our styles to an extent, there's no much RATE as such, but asymmetric cuts or some tailoring ticks are a great way to add a bit of controlled mess into our outfits. I hope to see your sandals in acton when your Summer comes.

Mandipa :: you clever you! Yes - I too thought the band on the hat and the shoe peeking are balancing each other just right. High five!

I went back and forth, but cannot decide. Rolled up or not, I like both equally.
Very nice combination: chic with casual.
Wear it often is my advice. (Love the last picture and the hat is a keeper.)
