This is a continuation of outfits I put together based La Belle Demimondaine's idea of a mood board of three images http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....or-dressin .

My second image is the work of a graffiti artist named Peeta. I liked that it is in an urban setting--like where I live. I like the color scheme: brights and gradations of white/gray creating form. The painting has a lot of sculptural sweeping curves and angles and I have a lot of drape, curves, and angular points in my outfits. I also like that the materials aren't precious but accessible--I have some clothing items made of plastics/vinyl. Since most of my outfits draw from all three images, some like the cardigan/jeans/pale gray #4 outfits in my first thread (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....-white-out) fit well with this image also.

My third image is a black and white film still of the android from Metropolis. I like the silver metallic abstraction of the female form (I have silver in bags, shoes, and belts, and am trying some more body con looks). I also like the graphic dark/light of the image (I brought black and dark navy into my outfits). I'm grouping in this image here because I haven't used it as much yet (although the mostly black outfits I wore in a recent trip to Vancouver (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....ng-rocking) relate to it somewhat, as does the first outfit here: (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....ach-sorbet)

#1 second inspiration image

#2 blue, white, and orange

#3 heh, this coral cotton shirt is mr. rabbit's but he's not wearing it. Does it work, is it too matchy-matchy with the cons? With the skirt outfits I'm also bringing in elements from the first inspiration image (the Moroccan pillows had florals and a softer feel).

#4 turquoise, navy, orange

#5 third inspiration image

#6 black and white. trying to figure out whether shirt hem angle should parallel or contrast with skirt hem angle.

#7 introducing more pattern (I don't know why this shirt pattern reminds me of a chest vortex into another dimension, but my mind is a strange place sometimes)

#8 which shoes? which bag? (the first sandals have a tiny flower on them) I've also worn this with black gladiators.

All feedback and tweaks welcome!
