Snakeskin

This exotic skin (real or faux) has slithered onto just about everything. Snakeskin bags, shoes, belts, headbands, wallets, bangles and watch straps are trending big time. Items such as these are a modern or retro classic and make my forever fashionable list. My favourite aspects of this trend are that it is season-less and makes a statement. Add a snakeskin accessory to a plain ensemble and you’ve kicked it up a notch. In both neutral and colourful tones, it is sure to give your outfit bite.

Snakeskin is wonderfully versatile. I bought a pair of snakeskin St. John flats last year and literally wore them to death.

I’ve been looking for a wallet that’s classic and neutral but unusual and without a $200+ price tag. It amazes me how, like good luggage, a wallet that meets those requirements is so hard to find at a lower price point. I wonder if the K. Cole version has nice supple skin or whether it would be a disappointment in person.
