I'm sure that this topic has been covered over and over because it is a classic, but since I've never seen it myself, I just thought I might open it again. If it's wrong for me to do this, mods please just erase it

So, I have this obsession with jeans & shoes. It's never too much lol. I have so many pairs of jeans and then I always wear the same ones! :S Every pair of pants I buy they are jeans (my mum always says: another pair? they look all the same!!). The thing is, I think I'm never happy with them because they stretch out so much they never look how they were supposed to. Skinnies never look like skinnies on me, they look more like straightish jeans and it's not because I have slim legs and calves: I am an hourglass, so I actually should get a smallest size for my waist but can't because then my legs can't get past the knee. I guess it's because I move too much and the jeans stretch out.
The problem is I don't have any pair of dress pants nor a non-denim skirt lol Which is a big issue when it's time to dress fomally! So next time I buy something, I promise, it will be a pair of dress pants and a white shirt!

As for the shoes, I have no explanation lol Just love them and try to wear all! The problem is I don't have space for them anymore lol And since I have so many, I keep changing them and they never end up looking old. I have a 6 years-old pair of Mary Janes and look new! :S So I can't really throw them away, I'd feel bad about it.

So onto you now! Which item you'd never get bored of buying?

Shoes, sayeth my husband. I think I love shoes because I can always find something that fits, my feet aren't picky, and it's easy to find something flattering. Clothes...not so much. I have lots of fit issues, and I find clothes shopping very frustrating. Shoe shopping is the exact opposite for me.

Currently it's blouses. After decades of buying tops and t-shirts or formal workwear shirts, it's time to stock up on floaty, girly, colorful stuff and that's the main thing I go for lately.

Jackets and Coats are my obsession, by far!

I actually don't own that many of them but I spend hours browsing through stores on-line looking at them and I dream about them....

I LIVE in jeans and have a dozen pairs. Some of them are lighter weight - I store these until summer time. Every pair I have is a different wash, some boot cut, some straight legs, and three pairs of the best-fitting skinnies ever (VGS).

But I love shoes too...and bags...and jewelry

My current obsession is just to keep finding new and different ways to wear the things that I already have. For me, boredom breeds shopping. I am trying to shop my closet instead.

It used to be jeans, like you. But now I'm finally happy with my collection, and I can now never have too many boots or jackets. This year, I have to force myself to focus on sandals and summer clothes, since summer is my dominant season. It hurts a little! lol

I recently discovered that I have an overwhelming number of cardigans: cropped, long, fitted, drapy, you name it. My goal this spring is to: not buy any more cardigans AND buy more sleeveless tops to wear under them. And, learn to accessorize them. Any advice is welcome.

Sweaters and knits (sleeveless! short-sleeved! long-sleeved!) in all kinds of fabrics and weights...

...T shirt jersey, silk mesh, silk jersey, heavy silk knits, flat-weave wools, textured open-weave wools, blends..in solid colors and, increasingly, patterns.

I definitely didn't get the shoe gene, but other than taking up less space I'm not sure my mutation is any better, ha!

Lately, it seems to be dolman sleeved tops, the more 80's the better. I keep looking at them and *almost* buying them, but really, how many does a girl need? Denim jackets seem to be there, too. I have 4 and I talked myself out of buying another on Monday at the consignment store (but they're having a sale now and I *may* end up getting it anyway if I go back and it's still there).

I go through phases too, but I NEVER get sick of jackets and coats, like tortoise.

I am also a phase type obsessionist lol. For a long time it was cropped fitted jackets, and then outerwear (in snowy CA). Then it became 'fancy' tank tops here in FL and of course, sundresses. Right now I'm trying not to get carried away with any one area, but I'm on a knit shirt kick lately.

It used to be jeans but I dont have as much occasion to wear them so I have got over that. I am obsessed with accessories since being on this site and obsessed with finding colour since I dont wear enough and I'm so jealous of those colourful creatures here who do it so well.

my current one is necklaces... i have probably 50 or so, and I'm the less-is-more person, not quite minimalist but closer to that spectrum. I have a few that I have yet to wear because of lack of occasion, or feel 'too much' for my outfits, but they are sooooo pretty I couldn't resist!

Right now it's scarves. I never wore scarves until I came to YLF less than 6 months ago, so I'm making up for lost time with a vengeance!!

I was on a jeans splurge for a good 12 months - I stopped it a year ago - and since then have not bought one single pair - and have not felt a need to either! (I've got a LOT - and I LOVE every single one of them.)
Of course, handbags and shoes are an ongoing obsession for me - I've got too many right now and no way of storing them so that I can see them and be "reminded" to wear them!
HOWever, my biggest and best obsession right now - is - ta-da - SHOPPING MY CLOSET!!!! I am just absolutely having the best time! It is bringing out my creative juices in new and exciting ways - I'm having a BLAST! (I hope that this obsession lasts a long, long time!

I am fixated on boots/booties and jackets, especially olive cargo jackets. I have two already, but I am obsessed with finding the Perfect One that will magically go with everything and be super-flattering.

Definitely shoes. I just feel like they are so important to an outfit, while at the same time being so hard to shop for when you have fussy feet. I impulsively buy anything that is cute and comfy.

In summer I go crazy with dresses too. They're the only thing I can stand when temperatures go above 80.
