OK, this is my list of wardobe builders for Fall, some already fulfulled:
1. oxfords (got it - Fryes in black)
2. long cardis (got three, need at least one or two more)
3. skinny pants - all types (have black, grey, charcoal cords, jeans - probably good on this, although the black ones could use replacing)
4. flat boots - (got it - waterproof aquatalia's)
5. sweater dress (have a red one from LY)
6. short shift dresses or tunics (have one white buttondown, one velvet, could use one more)
7. Interesting leggings (I'm eyeing some with leather panels)
8. faux fur vest (love the one from LOFT, but not sure how to wear - this indoor/outdoor question is still relevant in my mind)
9. olive green anorak (got it - from Gap)
10. Short, slouchy utilitarian flat boots (looking for somthing flat, with a lug sole, that I can wear with my leggings/shift dresses or tunics or with skinnies)

I really want a pair of knee-high or over-the-knee lace up boots, like these:

I think lace-up boots might work really well with my skinny calves and I love the retro '90s look!

Also love the look of legwarmers showing from the tops of boots, especially a pair like this:

They're too expensive, but I'm looking out for a (much) cheaper version!
