1. Every color of jeggings (hate that word but it works) I can find.
2. Khaki skinny pants.
3. Tailored sweatshirts (I like that Alternative Apparel ones)
4. Navy blue ankle boots with a chunky heel.
5. High-heeled oxfords in black dress, black rugged and army green.
6. Every shade of brown nail polish.
7. Tunic styled t-shirts
8. Animal print pumps
9. Cardigans (longer length to put over the tunic t-shirt)
10. Camel color button down wool coat (looking for a good cheap one, any ideas)

Pewter low or flat shoes, (loafers or flats)

Fly away cardigan (have tried many and just can't seem to find one I like on me yet. They always look fab on *you*! LOL)

Grey and/or brown shbooties

New leather gloves in red or black. (I keep losing one glove everytime I get a pair, maybe I should buy two or three pairs at the same one?? Either that or resort to those clips we used to use on the kids mittens...LOL)

Black skinny jeans.

Some new socks.

Can't think of much else right now. I just picked up a bunch of things on the weekend that kind of rounded out the holes in my wardrobe (I hope!)

Oh yes, something in a leopard print to really stretch my fashion sensabilities! LOL

-OTK socks to wear with my
-rugged boots and my
-baggy tweed short shorts
-comfy booties
-wingtip oxfords
-furry vest
-cropped tailored vest. preferably with pinstripes or glen plaid or some other menswear fabric.
-fabulous vegan bag. I still haven't found one
-wooly and opaque tights (sorry Angie)
-fitted bf blazer

I'm trying to abstain from buying a lot of clothes because I'd rather save my pennies for spring, when color is expected to return.

Jeans that fit better, cognac knee high boots, black heeled oxfords, possibly combat-like boots, dresses and skirts for everyday wear, and a good quality button up white shirt.

Since I'm participating in SYC and in pretty good shape, I plan to try to make work some items I have:
1. taupe oxfords
2. animal print loafers
3. some navy and some black shooties
4. summer dresses worn into fall for as long as possible

The footwear was ignored last year, so it will be a challenge. But seeing oxfords and loafers in the fall fashions makes me want to try.

If I didn't have them, my "must haves" would be:
*Black skinny or straight pants.
*Leggings
*Lots of cute jackets

I was delighted to find one of my big fall must haves at Bloomingdales last week for far less than I intended to spend: an animal print fur vest. Of course, we've been in an unexpected heat wave ever since but I can't wait to trot it out with long sleeve shirts and jeans. Not something I would have imagined myself buying but the fur-laden runways really got me in the mood.

Other items I hope to acquire:
-a replacement pair of leggings in jet black and hopefully in a heavier material than the ones I currently have
-microfishnets
-some long, soft, chunky knit sweaters that feel heavenly but don't add bulk to the midsection--tricky, but theoretically possible
-Tory Burch's dolman sleeve cashmere sweater in cobalt blue
-Tory Burch's Aaron coat in camel
-a new pair of statement specs (in conjunction with a very overdue eye appointment next weekend)
-crisp white button down

My MAYBE must-haves (so, more like "might have to haves")--things I am intrigued by but would have to find JUST the right version to make me purchase:
-a pair of fall apporpriate shorts (either tweed or a solid wool/felt)
-Oxfords

My "must haves" list is small since I have accumulated so much over the last couple of years:

-black booties to replace my old ones (heels too high)
-a BF sweater in a bright color - preferably fuchsia
-scarves
-new dressy black flats to replace my patent Me Toos (wore them this weekend and they were horribly uncomfortable for some reason)
-leopard flats

My "wish/maybe/if I find the perfect version" list is a bit longer:
1. Cognac riding boots
2. Brown leather jacket
3. Sweater Dress
4. Sweater tunics to wear with ponte pants or leggings

I *must* find a pair of heeled black dress boots that fit in the calves as my old pair are done for.

I'd like to add:
cargo pants that are narrow but not skinny
leopard mary-jane pumps
a few new pairs of microfishnets
a pair of oxfords (I'm finally seeing the light on this one!)
dark gray straight/skinny jeans
a red handbag (considering the same Talbot's bag Kristen is)

Angie, a chestnut leather jacket would look gorgeous on you:)

*lined gray wool dress pants
*fitted gray blazer/jacket
*gray pencil skirt
*the perfect red cardi
*flat gray oxfords or fashion sneakers
*red skinny belt

After SYC, this is what I would like :

A belt
Spanx !
Brown/caramel knee high boots
olive green, leather, safari jacket
wool trench coat
David Yurman multichain bracelet

Having a list is keeping me sane during SYC

My list, some of which i do have thank goodness:

Leather jacket
Scarf, in navy or purple
OTK boots
Patterned tights
Booties, in black,grey or cognac
Long leather gloves(a real necessity for me)
Statement bag, structured ideally
Structured wool skirts
Oxford HEELS--sorry no flat oxfords for me Angie Unless some cute ballet flats...
Sweater dress
Ivory wool pants

Wish list:
- black knee high boots with some kind of buckle/interesting detailing
- black skinnies (first ever)
- booties
- dress that can be dressed up and down for cooler weather
- leggings (I've never had any) - to transition some of my warm weather wear
- ballet flats (never had any)
- skirt - to wear like the dress
- microfishnets
- white tunic buttondown - never found the right one, but still waiting
- microcheck pants
- furry, shaggy waistcoat

Oh dear, the list is growing and if I buy a pair of boots I can't really justify much else, given the other things I've bought over the last 6 months!

Can't wait for your list, Angie...

If I weren't doing the SYC challenge I would be hunting down...
booties
red shoes
scarves that drape beautifully
lightweight flowy tunic tops
black moto vest
a couple killer cardigans
a few updated statement necklaces
a great versatile handbag
belts

I already have, and couldn't live without....
tall black boots
leggings
skinnies and bootcut jeans
denim jacket

Two or three tunic blouses to wear with skinny jeans and black ponte knit pants - and on top of the list is a crisp white button down tunic blouse

One or two woven patterned blouses

Knee-high boots that fit my 17.5 inch calves

A handbag in a fallish color (perhaps orange or mustard)

Hmm. I already have a number of my must haves, including:

Military jacket
Rugged boots in neutral and black
Chanel inspired jacket
More statement accessories (large pearls, brooches and pins and a belt)
Bow blouses and more blouses with sleeves
Something fur-ish. Mine is a leopard swing jacket
Denim and leather jackets (these are not new, but are necessary)

Still on the list:
Red shoes
Cool tunic to wear with leggings. Does it exist?
Interesting, but subdued, tights

Love all your lists! And you're definitely putting ideas into my head;-)

My wish list always seems to be a mile long. So I'll start with the need list:
- a few pairs of self-patterned hose
- knitwear - ideally with some interesting and unique detailing and in fab colours (blues, greens, purples please)
- a black fitted turtleneck sweater for layering purposes
- a few flattering dresses, hoping - yet again - to find some that are long enough and have sleeves (not sure yet which colours, patterned or not)
- a perfectly fitting knee-length pencil skirt - I would love a green or purple plaid, or at least some kind of pattern or a bright colour
- black stirrup leggings

Wish list
- gorgeous scarves - I was drooling over another Kenzo scarf just this weekend, oh well, one day...
- grey leather boots with a low heel, knee-high or OTK
- black booties with a chunky heel
- cascading cardigans - would love a B&W striped one
- fab button-down shirts and blouses - one patterned with an interesting collar to wear under sheath dresses
- button-down tunic shirt, still haven't found one
- fairly "fitted" harem pants, would love to give them a try
- a blue, green or purple leather jacket
- some "minimalist" pearl necklaces
- a few fun blazers and jackets, different styles and colours - wouldn't mind this one to start things off (that's sooo my shade of green)

Ok, I'd better stop here;-)

No oxfords for me either!

- I would love to find the perfect pair of flat ankle boots that are not black - am thinking with a military vibe but age appropriate so not too slouchy.

- I like the skinny cargo pants look - in dark green / olive - a little more interesting than another pair of jeans.

- Black closed toe pumps - maybe patent leather.

I also have found a lot of my list already:

Chanel inspired jacket
military/utilitarian jacket
cream moto jacket
flat oxfords/heeled oxfords
mid heel pumps
heeled booties/low heel booties
black handbag with gold hardware
voluminous knitwear
skinny cargos

Things I need/want but have less hope for:
Dresses to wear with the booties-- why is that booties are so big this year and the selection of dresses thus far is not so good?
I'm due for a new fall trench but I think I might just wait and see what Angie puts in the YLF store
a pair of taller boots-- despite living in a warmer climate, I like to get one pair of taller boots each year. This year I'm kind of at a loss of what to get. OTK boots are the thing but I have a grey pair and it seems silly to get another pair. Nothing has really struck my fancy and I'm short with narrower calves so that's always a fit issue.

Oh Inge I love that green jacket.

I just ordered this bag for an autumn color, in blue.

and this in mulberry.

I recently bought a Vince suede jacket in a deep olive or forrest green, like this one.
http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/31.....ltback=175
I also bought a lambskin jacket in a longer than hip length style, and various Vince sweaters to snuggle in.
I also purchased this soft blazer.
http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/31.....tback=2039
And my favorite pair of boots are these, easy to walk in and comfy.
http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/30.....tback=4077
I see they come in a tall boot too.

I am pretty well set for our dominat season.

need:
- brown v-neck short sleeved t
- brown pencil skirt

want:
- something tweed (probably a jacket or skirt)
- lots and lots of warm autumn colors when they go on sale

I can't even read this thread for fear of cracking up on the SYC challenge, but I wanted to say that my only item is long, baggy, pleated wool or tweed shorts. They must hit just above the knee.

If they appeared I would consider it a gift from the fashion gods and would beg and plead for everyone to make an exception on SYC - they are so far impossible to find!

Photo example - these, only in wool:

San - scary - I have this Halogen bag on my wishlist...in Mulberry!

(And I'm considering the first one you posted, in military.)

I have a long list, currently I don't have a fall/winter wardrobe. Things starred are replacements of items i have worn through recently:

winter coats-- still have no idea
raincoat*
bootcuts* (these are my staples and I have one of my two pair about to die)
straight leg jeans*
ponte pants or jeggings to wear under my tunic
boyfriend blazer (have my eye on one, but am waiting for measurements for sleeve length)
replacement slacks (maybe microcheck, maybe charcoal, maybe black)*
socks, undies, bras*
converse jack purcell brogues
oxfords (wingtips or brogued ones, something semi masculine, didn't think i want these, but I am thinking of wearing as dress shoes with my slacks since I can't wear almost all heels)
low heeled boots to wear in and out of snow of campus
doc marten darcies
crossbody bag
tie neck blouse or similar drapey silk like concoctions
cowl neck sweater or knit
Chambray shirt
1 or two sweaters (red, animal print, idk)
long underwear/compression gear
gloves, indoor scarves, outdoor scarves, hats
leopard print dress
layering ts
belt for tunic
new suimsuit (gear)*

It is a long list and I am trying to find pieces and narrow other things out. Right now I need a mostly casual wardrobe, but in January (January and Febuary are our coldest months and it will be cold till late april) I will need a work wardrobe. Decisions, decisions!

I have been in the process of cleaning out and organizing my closet these past few weeks - and I really have very little need/want for anything. It has just hit me how much I already have - and how very little room there is where I live to bring in anything more! The only thing that I can think of that I would really like is a pair of black knee-high flat boots. Otherwise I can get through this season perfectly content with my wardrobe as is. I am a warm weather person, so I just don't really get into layered looks, scarves, jackets, leggings, etc.! I'm dreaming about Fashion Week's Spring 2011 looks!

I could use a couple new pairs of boots. I got rid of a few pairs at the end of last season. Other than that all I'd like are some shirts/tunics/dresses I can wear with leggings.

I want to buy a white button down with interesting shoulders. Jenava already found it for me at The Limited (thanks!). I am waiting until it goes on sale or I come across a really good coupon.

Hmmm... I don't know how much of this I'll actually be able to buy, but here's my list:

* Tweed blazer
* Military jacket
* Black skinnies
* Skinny jeans
* New handbag
* Trench coat
* Fabulous frocks:

http://bit.ly/oakappledress
http://bit.ly/tieryeyeddress
* Blouses
* Red shoes:
http://bit.ly/eccohanna
* Brown leather knee high boots
* New specs

I will also keep my eye out for earrings, scarves, and hats. Also, I am hoping to had some vintage or vintage-inspired items to my look.

Oh, good... I really needed to sit down and figure this list out. Thanks Angie!

Needs:
Dark wash jeans with the perfect rise for me.
Black blazer
Black dress pumps that are not too high
Microfishnet hose
Something to satisfy military trend (Yeah! I got a fun military coat recently.)

Wanting/Coveting:
I tried these on at Nordstrom Rack and the 3 1/2 in. heel was too high but I'm still dreaming about them!
http://www.endless.com/Franco-.....B0031EROQU
Fun red flats
Purple coat
An LBD that is not black.

Do you know I don't think I have a list!!! Just off the top of my head I'd like some low heeled grey booties and I might think about replacing my shaggy waistcoat with a shorter version which works better with dresses but that's about it x

I have enjoyed reading these lists, though I do have pangs of jealousy since I am trying to be a good soldier and not shop until 2011! My list, to be fulfilled January 1, is for a beautiful, perfect, versatile, fitted, slim-cut, slightly-cropped black jacket that will go with everything and make me feel fabulous. Also, a pair of perfect knee-high black boots that are polished and elegant yet edgy, fit my calves/ankles (both slightly smaller than average, so it seems), and have a walkable 2" heel. That's it!

These are the latest boots I have been mooning over from afar. They are SO FAB:
