The challenge is starting today! Are you excited?
Our first inspiration picture is Interchange by Willem de koonig, dated 1955.
I did a little bit of reading on the work and the artist as I like to do. There is not a lot to be found about this particular one, except that it is one of artist's first abstract landscapes. The name of the painting appears to correspond to the neighborhood that de Koonig lived at the time in downtown New York.
There's no mention at all of this in Wikipedia, but his work is heavily influenced by (and some claim even derivate of) Mary Abbot, another overlooked female artist of the 20th C in favor of her male counterparts.

So let's see your outfits!
