*sigh* this is perfection. Please keep it and wear it lots so that I can live vicariously in your WIWs! I really should get a dress form and learn to drape, ha!

Late to chime in, but I do not think this is too short - looks good! I actually really like it with the leggings.

Well, the tags are off! I wore it to dinner tonight and felt fab! (and comfortable!)
I'm going searching for some opaque gray tights tomorrow.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions!

I don't think it is too short at all and love it on you! I tend to like longer lengths but this looks great at this length on you. Maybe it is as Angie said the boxiness offsets the length? Hope you keep!

So glad you are keeping this one. I love the idea of a variety of gray options for layering (tights, leggings). If the opaque tights work, that would could be what makes the dress effortless to wear.

You do look fab in it.

I prefer it with the leggings, but I wish they were fitted. Maybe look for a fitted grey legging while you're at it

Hi Parsley --

I was going to encourage you to go the "leggings for day, legs for night" route and I see your husband beat me too it.

I am overly prudish about hem length on myself (not others) and even applying my own personal comfort level I think worn-as-dress looks very sophisticated and appropriate. I also like it with the leggings, so win-win from my standpoint.

Please wear and enjoy in multiple ways!

YLF! So glad you are keeping it!

I like it, Mom. Target has nice gray sweater tights with a subtle zig zag pattern that would be great with it. I don't like regular gray opaque tights as much--I think it's the lack of heather.

So glad you are keeping and I do love the look of it with the leggings, but then I am a leggings girl. I agree that the fact that you have the two options for wear makes this dress very wearable.

So glad you kept it!

The black leggings are my preference because they complement your hair colour but I like both looks.
