I'm as doggie-obsessed as it gets.

I LOVE the sentiment on the "Dog Person" pullover that Boden just brought out. I have the "Fish & Chips" version in navy that I adore, and it's already a workhorse. Laundered beautifully. No pilling.

PROBLEM: It's grey, and grey does not make me happy. But everything else about the pullover thrills me! I love the cream - but can't wear the cat version for obvious reasons.

DECISION: : Do I give the grey a bash and jazz it up with my happy colours...... or say NEXT?

Let the voting begin. The velvet pouch is a no-brainer.

UPDATE: I'm too curious despite the majority of nays..... I HAVE TO see it and try it on. I've ordered it! Personally, I love the graphic. The grey might look very different with my red specs and white pearls.t comes to my style That said, I am very good at listening to my feelings and intuition when it comes to fashion and style. If the grey looks and feels off when I style it in outfits, I will return it without hesitation. Stay tuned.

I agree--the pullover is adorable. But grey. Maybe just get the pouch and be happy.

I don't like having those pieces where you have to think too hard about what to put them with to make them work.

I'm not a fan of grey either but I think you have so much color in your wardrobe right now (3 pairs of red pants to pair it with) that I think you'll be able to jazz it up. .

ETA. I like grey and mustard together and don't you have a mustard suit?

I think the grey would look marvelous with your reds and yellows! I allow for a less than perfect color for a perfect graphic message, especially when it is as layerable as this is.

Hah!! I see we are having the same dilemma (you know how I feel about grey;-).

Why didn't they make it in one of our happy colours!?-))

I think I'll skip it, but could see it work with your new red trousers, your plaid trousers, the Scotch & Soda suit ... Especially with your red specs and a bright-coloured bag (which you have;-)

Curious to see what you'll decide!

P.S. I might go for one of the notebooks (stationery is always calling my name ...)

Sara, almost. I have mustard pants, but not the matching jacket. Yes, to the fab combination with white boots.

Suntiger, Janet, Inge and Kyle, YES. I had the same remixing thoughts! (The notebooks are in my cart with the pouch).

Kyle, the navy is not itchy at all. So I'm hoping the grey isn't either.

While I think the grey would look smashing with your citron, mustard, and watermelon red, you said yourself "grey does not make me happy".

And, if you cover the grey sweater with one of your amazing, colorful jackets, the graphic will be hidden - colorful as the jacket may be.

It's a tough vote for me, but I'm leaning "next".

I am going to be all over the Cat Person sweater! Even my husband, who I'm sure thinks I have enough clothes but is usually politely silent about it, admitted that I probably ought to have it.

As for grey... sigh. Since dyeing my hair reddish, I have been completely off it as well. On the other hand, I too am a sucker for cute stuff like this. I can see your dilemma. You may not know for sure until you order, so why not? (Soooo many lovely items in this rollout, no?)

I vote Next. I don't find the graphic cute/interesting/fun. And though I am convinced you could successfully wear a light grey shade combined with i.e. your sour brights, this top seems too boring for you. I guess there are other and better "dog tops" somewhere ...

Next. Cute graphic and yes it mixes well with your other colors, but I don’t think you should violate your no grey rule, especially near your face. Cute dog graphics will appear again.

Hmm. As one who is always on the lookout for graphic tees, I barely own any because the magic combination of message or art, color and fit just doesn’t happen. I have bought and passed on some without wearing! Because. They. Were. White. Do I own any white tops? Nope. Only a couple that are print with white background and they aren’t my favorites.

So you can predict my vote- pass!

Angie - I want the cat sweater for sure! Fortunately, I have no problem with the color. The more I think about it, I'd order it to assess in your situation, but only if I were placing an order anyway--but it sounds like you'd like to order the pouch either way. (I almost typed pooch - it's a pooch pouch!)

I’m a cat person but can’t use the cream and then, something about “ cat person “ is not the graphic I would reach for even though it’s relatively simple- I want something more interesting/ subtle/clever.
So I agree that COMBINATION of gray + less than stellar graphic is not your Best Buy.

But... if you are ok with returns, and since you already know your fit, you could get it and do tryons if you think you could be strong and return if it’s not making you happy.

Tough one but I think I’m a nay too. Love the graphic but grey is not your colour. Stay true to your style as well as your sentiments. There will be other dog tops. You could have one made.

I’m a dog person who likes to wear grey, but I vote no. If the color does not make you happy, then it’s not a top you will want to reach for even if you like the logo. If you wait, something you like better will materialize.
