For quite a while now, Mochi and Vicki wanted to challenge the notion that 5'3" petites couldn't wear 20-eyelet Docs.
We were up to the effort and, before the holidays, had this idea ready to set in motion in the new year. Here we go:
From Mochi: "Purple docs and the triumphant 5'3" women who proved Angie wrong, who proved that sometimes you CAN be a shortie and still rock the 20-eyelets! :)"
From Vicki: "We may have short legs, but we are long in humor and ready to walk our talk."
Hopefully, the two of us can meet again IRL, perhaps at the next "So. Cal. Shoptoberfest" and we can stomp around town to our delight!!
We both chose purple and fuchsia tees with denim bottoms and dark-hued jackets. Mochi stepped up her game with a handmade necklace. Both of us are in our purple 20-eyelet Docs. I'm giving a shout out to Amy, who was the first one to turn my head with the purple ones, after Angie first turned my head with the white ones. Yes, my head does turn a lot here, in the most wonderful way!
