WSIW: Which shoes with my EF linen dress?

I’m going to dinner with my husband, others from his office and some outside tax people. I want to wear this EF linen dress again. Which shoes do you like better - silver Kork Ease sandals or silver Halogen mules? My husband is wearing a polo shirt with nice slacks. We’re leaving soon..

Agree with bj1111 that flatform is nice with the dress shape. Agree with suntiger the mules might be nice for slightly cooler weather paired with an added scarf or lightweight topper.

Thank you for offerng your opinions. I ended up wearing the mules. My husband thought they were dressier. I was surprised he liked them.

I had returned something to Nordstrom Rack and looked at shoes and saw the mules. They were under $30, so I thought I’d give them a try. Last night they were pretty comfy, and in the restaurant AC my feet weren’t cold. I wore a silver bead necklace to go with them. I think I’ve had the necklace since the 80s.

Janet, you look perfect for the dinner. The mules are my favorite, but then I may be biased as I can’t wear sandals. That dress is a want for me, but not a need.
