1) A while ago I asked your opinion on whether to keep this top in this post

Well - I never took more photos, the day for returning passed, and so by default I have kept it!

but since then it seems to have got shorter with washing and Mum (aka my "tailor) and I agreed to leave it like it was

I really like #2 on you! I hope you post pics at some point to show how you're styling it at the new, washed length. I think #1 is a good basic item that you can use as a base layer for outfits. I love the boots in #3 - would you mind telling me what they are? I think the skirt looks fine with the boots at the current length but can see why others might suggest shortening it.

I think top #1 will work with a denim jacket over it. That's nice that #2 doesn't need tailoring now. For #3 I was one of the shorten votes, but it is just my opinion and I'm still learning. I look forward to your outfits with the longer length.

Anne, I don't think I commented on the pink top because I like the color so much I can't objectively say how it looks on you. Suffice to say I am glad it is yours. I think it is good to have at least one tea-length skirt. At least that's what I would call this length.

Ha, glad the shrinkage worked in your favour. Doesn't often work that way hey?

I think the skirt works at it's current length with the boots but I would prefer it shortened with shoes. I think maybe it would be more versitle shortened.

Re the skirt.
I still can shorten it! I plan to wear it with boots normally. I wouldn't wear the shoes I have on in new skirt pics with skirts at all - just didn't want to wear black next to it while trying to show the skirt details

Sparky - I never go back to you about the boots. Sorry.
This probably won't help you much, as I am in Australia - they are Sandler ( I am pretty sure). I can dig out the style for you if you are interested but I bought them last year and they are not on their current website.

Angie - just checking that you did look at the back details ( in the extra pics) before saying that?
