After reading today's blog about duplication, I thought I must have the most psycho wardrobe ever, with no duplication, and with colours and styles that are all over the place etc. The difference between my black blazer outfit from my last post and the outfit I'm wearing today at first struck me as dramatic - as in, whose closet did that stuff come from? But , I think despite the burst of colour today, I am more of a classic dresser than I realized. This outfit got a few comments today at the hair salon about how "matching" I was today. Which is a bizarre comment I dislike anyways, but really - should I NOT match? You're wearing all black - it's the same thing! Grr.

Anyways, these are all pieces I have had for a couple of years but have rarely (and in the case of the coat, never) worn as they never seem to fit my lifestyle at the time , which was more professional looking. Now - they seem perfect. It took me awhile to be comfortable in all of this colour too - but I'm now just going for it. Middle -aged, semi-retired ,suburban condo-living boomer. LOL.

Had my first official "going natural" haircut and discussion with my stylist today . She confirmed what we all know: at a certain age, hair is better off not being coloured. She says almost every client she has experiences healthier, nicer hair after quitting the bleach, tone, colour circus. I'm kind of pumped!
