Some old, some new; workwear and commute athletic wear. I’m usually walking or jogging 1-3 miles each morning, carrying workwear clothing with me, changing and cleaning up in the locker room, then walking at lunch or end of the day as well. As a result, please bear with the mirror shots.
1. New sheath dress from NAS. It’s a beautiful brick red, asymmetrical neckline, beautifully cut. I wore it with a chunky rose gold collar necklace and silver ECCO sandals-a hot day, otherwise I’d wear rose gold, closed toed wedges. I don’t mind mixing metals.
2-3: The faux-knit dress. Forest green v-neck tee and pencil skirt from Universal Standard, green suede Clark’s flats, same rose gold necklace as in 1, rose gold wavy braided cuff that reminds me of coral.
4-5: Classiques Entier forest green floral print dress that I’ve had for several years with the same green suede flats as in 3.
6. Black and white knit fit-and-flare dress from 3 anniversary sales ago, purple and bronze beaded necklace, silver ECCO sandals.
7. Dark coated cropped denim skinnies, olive tee, same necklace as in 6, very old brown braided belt (I need a new one!), same green suede shoes as in 3.
8. New NAS Kut from the Kloth plaid skinnies, black tee, same green suede flats as in 3 - apparently I wear these shoes all the time.
The commute or early morning gear typically includes Zella athletic capris and a loose tee, or a running kilted skirt and a tighter-fitting tee or tank. On average I’m logging 4-7 miles per day. I’m also SUPER glad that I finally got prescription sunglasses this year-they are an essential in the mornings and at lunch, especially with our current lovely summer.
