Here are my office outfits from the past two weeks, with an extra outfit worn for a doctors appointment which involved 5 h of commuting on various public transports, so comfort was the key. Looking at them together, it is lots of black and some purple, with just a touch of blue in the floral blouse.

1) (#1-2) This was the appointment outfit, put together for comfort. It was built around relaxed straight black coated jeans and white knit shirt, with addition of charcoal waistcoat. Black stompy boots and puffer round it up, with a touch of purple in scarf and bag.

2) (#3-4): A simple office outfit of dark purple cutout dress, with lavender tweedy coat, and black boots and bag.

3) (#5-6): Two piece asymmetric purple knit dress, with black moto, stompy boots and skull chiffon scarf.

4) (#7-9): Black tuxedo suit, which uses leather instead of satin for accents, with dark floral silk blouse, an old mixed media coat and edgy black booties.

5) (#10-12): An all-black outfit in mix of textures. It literally follows Angie's example from Fall 2023 when she wrote about the Dark Romance trend: "For example, remix black wool, faux fur, lace, brocade, and patent leather in one outfit." The wool is the cropped tuxedo jacket, faux-fur is the reversible puffer, lace is the shirt, brocade are the pants, and patent are the booties. Bonus 6th texture, smooth leather in beret and bag.

6) (#13-14): For the super warm Thursday this week, a knit ribbed midi dress with a small cutout, long mixed media blazer in wool/leather and suede booties. I like cut-outs, but am very particular in type I would wear, especially in the office, and this was a rare item that passed my personal office-appropriateness test. I am also generally comfortable with body-con items like this dress, but not in the office, so the blazer never came off.

As usual, comments and suggestions welcome.
