Hi! It's been quite a while (over 3 weeks!) since I've posted a WIW. I've been super busy, traveling a lot (including a weeklong, super casual conference in Maine during which I took no outfit photos), and not very inspired due to the typical hot and humid August weather here. But here are a few outfits that made their way onto my camera from the past few weeks.
-2: I tried wearing this top (with handknit lace yoke) backwards for a change. I liked the look of the deep V in the back, but weirdly this kept slipping off my shoulders - I guess the back and front are cut differently enough that it doesn't quite work fit-wise to swap them.
another mostly-grey outfit (I discovered when I was looking for photos for KL's thread about how to wear grey that I really wear a lot of grey.)
super casual with faded, cropped BF jeans and allsaints tee. I used to wear these BFs rolled up more and scrunched higher, but I'm liking the slightly longer cropped length these days - it looks more current, I think.
boho dress with a belt. I usually prefer my dresses unbelted but this one is a bit too big so the belt helps a lot in making it look properly sized.
A rare occurrence of wearing shorts to work (in other words: too hot to care). This tentlike linen top is really comfy in the heat.
Today's outfit, featuring some very old items (both the top and the skirt are at least 6-7 years old). I hope they do not look too dated, the top in particular. Please tell me if you think they are! I liked the pattern mixing with two different scales of the similar plaid pattern.
