I have had an incredibly busy week at work which is why I have been very scarce here. I have finally started my internship as well ( Wednesday and Friday).
When I am very busy I like to give myself some kind of theme, it helps getting dressed easier. So that is what I did for the first three days of the week - the theme was column of color. Blue is a calming color for me, hence a lot of it here. There are a lot of recent Angie's ensembles too - great help when one is in a rush.

Here are the outfits:
#1 and #2: Monday in my lab, mostly doing computer work. Went for a column of white, white a fun (very) high-low Express blouse, white cropped kick flare Loft jeans and white ankle strap Charles David mini-wedges.
#3 and #4: Tuesday spent in a very cold lab room doing experiments for 12h. This time went for a column of light blue, with a new white linen cardi by Gap I finally purchased after considering various white cardis for weeks. The pale blue column consists of ruffle eyelet AT top (worn backwards), cropped straight Genetic Denim jeans and Pikolinos oxfords. This is double ensemble: it features the most recent light blue, pearl grey and white colors, as well as ruffled-hem top over cropped jeans.
#5 and #6: Wednesday spent helping with a little science bootcamp for high-school kids, my first official day of the internship and thus a BC outfit. I went for a column of navy, with navy ruffle-hem ON top, navy cropped kick flare BR pants, navy neckerchief and navy AT ankle-strap shoes. The outfit was finished with white linen blazer and orchid tote. This is another example of ruffle-hem top over cropped bottoms ensemble.
#7: Thursday, another 12h long experimental day in a very cold room. This time went for Double Denim outfit #11, with BR denim shirt dress over cropped black Express skinnies. The outfit was finished with a charcoal neckerchief and pewter cut-out Matisse booties. This is an example of the unstructured shirt dress ensemble.
#8 and #9 - Friday (today), my second internship day helping with another bootamp, and thus BC dress code again. Wearing my new cobalt Halogen asymmetric tunic over cropped black BR Sloans, with grey AE cardi and BR oxfords. This is another double ensemble, featuring recent long top over cropped pants, as well as last years color combo of cobalt, grey and black.
