We have had glorious, summer-warm temperatures this week, though it has cooled off today. I was inspired to put together some proper spring-y work outfits, based on my "Modern Romance" spring theme ("Modernica"=Modern America Sportswear + Contemporary Romance).

1) The first outfit (#1-2) is a spring pastel combo, light blue & lavender (or is it lilac?). The key piece is the new faux leather lavender A-line skirt, combined with simple ribbed light blue knit, both characteristics of Modernica theme. The touch of romance is added through the ancient cream lace bomber. And the shoes are also new for this spring, fun off-white slingbacks.
2) The 2nd outfit (#3-4) is my interpretation of one the Tory Burch SS 2022 looks, which were the major inspiration for my theme. As mentioned I would, I was playing with this idea of wearing a tube top as a wide belt. After some trial and error, I found the right tube tops to work for this purpose. So here we have the blue, red & white, with old navy eyelet dress, two additional layers at the waist (red ribbed top and navy obi belt), and white fisherman sandals and tote.
3) The 3rd outfit (#5-7) takes inspiration from Angie's Hints of Spring Formula from 2022. Since I can't wear denim to work, I have a mild obsession of finding pieces in denim-like texture, and these blue wide pants are a recent find. They were paired with an asymmetric white knit top, rose pink blazer and yellow slingbacks.
