Some recent dress outfits.
1-2: wearing this today. It's cold again, and wet and rainy (ugh). Allsaints freesia dress layered over straight leg jeans and booties, plus my faux leather drape front jacket and a summer weight scarf.
3-5: another unseasonably cold day. This outfit did not photograph well... IRL the dress is not so shapeless. This is an ancient sweater dress (which is a bit worse for wear and probably should be retired soon) layered over some crazy floral pants and booties. I added a small handknit shawl as well, although it really should be reblocked to be wider and less long. What do you think of the pants length here? I feel like they should be slightly longer (I think I can let out the hem an inch or so). I actually left a couple of inches of my black socks visible here because I thought the shaft of the booties needed to be higher with this pants length (plus it was cold!).
6: from last week, when it was a lot warmer! Sack dress, no pants, sandals, and floral cardigan. Not much to say here except that I think I've figured out that this cardigan works a lot better with dresses than with pants or skirts.
