Lately I'm really enjoying wearing mostly neutrals (black, white, and grey primarily) with little pops of color. My summer 2015 wear is definitely less colorful than it has been in previous years.

1-2: I wore this to a baby shower as well as a fancy dinner. I wanted to go for a lighter and more feminine color palette. It was actually quite cold and rainy on this day so I needed a jacket and closed shoes. I cannot bring myself to wear tights or hose in the summer no matter how cold it is, so I was a little cold with bare legs but it was fine.
(BR top, AT skirt, Greylin jacket, born oxfords, Halogen bag)

3-4: A casual outfit with my pseudo-kick flares (actually some very old hacked off bootcuts). It was rather dark so I brightened it up with my floral slip ons.
(ancient Radcliffe jeans, H&M top, KUT jacket, Halogen sneakers)

5-6: Finally debuting the new white Pleione vest. The faux wrap tube skirt features diagonal lines as an illustration of today's blog post. (The tie-in was unintentional.)
(Pleione vest, Anthro top, Bobeau skirt, Naot sandals).

These outfits feature a good mix of new and old (some very old, like the cutoff jeans and the frilly top in #1) items. The new-this-season items are collected below.
