Three WIWs from the last few days, with my typical shifting eclectic styles.
1-3: Classic plaid shirt/skinnies/boots, a very typical look for New England autumn weekends. (Not to mention I wore this to go watch some boat races....) This is the new Lucky plaid shirt I bought recently. I took a back view pic to show the interesting peplum detailing on the back - it has little buttons. I like the peplum because it gives me extra room in the hips.
(Lucky Brand shirt, Rag&Bone jeans, Sam Edelman boots, ??? scarf, Spiegel lemming jacket, MZ Wallace bag.)
4: An arty look for dinner on Sunday. For those in the NE, you know that it was in the 30s on Sunday night. Needless to say, I was not appropriately dressed for the weather. (I did have a leather jacket and scarf, but still...) Luckily we drove to dinner so I did not have to be outside for very long!
(Rory Beca blouse, VC skirt, Everybody booties, Halogen bag).
5: Today's boho lite look, featuring this handknit cardigan that has been in the (mental) holding zone for a couple of years now. I pretty much didn't want to wear cardigans for the last couple of winters, but this year they are feeling fresh again. The bootcuts are probably 10 years old and I have worn them every year. What do you think of the sweater hem over the high low top? I'm not sure what exactly to layer under this sweater... it has to be something fairly simple and not too voluminous so as not to compete with the ruffles. I don't do visible tucking or high rise pants, and the sweater is a bit too short to hide an underlayer, so I'm pretty sure whatever it is I layer underneath will show at least a little bit.
(handknit sweater, Paige top, Lucky jeans, Born oxfords)
