These are two outfits from yesterday and today for the school runs. Still peaking 100F here. I want to get enough wear out of my linen clothes before it gets too cold to wear (who am I kidding, we still have plenty of summer left!)
1 - I am wearing my navy wide leg linen pants (Next/last season) with my lime green shell top (F&F). This is one of my favorite color combos - navy/chartreuse/lime. I left the top untucked because it looked more flattering that way. For shoes I went with simple black thong type sandals (old/gift) and my black studded tote (Steve Madden/old) for lugging around things.
2 - The pale blue skirt (Zara) paired with my blue v-neck tee (Zara). I did a semi tuck this time to show some more of the skirt. The black ankle cuff sandals (H&M) for shoes and an orange clutch (Nine West/old) for some fun pop of color. This skirt is slowly turning into a favorite. Has this ever happened to you?! Something that you initially disliked turned into a favorite? I just wanted this skirt to work .... I am kind of starting to love it now. The only skirt in my closet that has got so many wears! I don't understand o_O I really have to thank you all for being around with me patiently while I experimented
DS2 has adjusted beautifully and I love seeing him smile and wave goodbye Phew! Next week on, I would have the mornings to myself. Now I am making a list of to-dos .... all that I always wanted to do but couldn't because of the LOs! Here's to a few hours of freedom Have a nice day you all!
