Here's a couple more random WIWs from the past week.
1-3: a maximal outfit for an afternoon of shopping/eating downtown last weekend. Handknit variegated red chunky lace tunic with lace ribbon, b/w mosaic patterned pants, b/w printed pashmina, black suede boots, & nylon/gold crossbody = LOTS of patterns, prints, and textures.

4-6: On the other side of the coin, a rather minimal, simple work outfit. This one almost felt slightly too tomboyish for me, what do you think? Topshop blouse from NAS, cropped jeans, and lace up boots. The boots are actually midcalf so my ankles were warm enough. It is cold in the lab so I actually wore the handknit colorwork cowl indoors most of the day as well - it adds just a little tiny maximal touch.
