The first outfit was worn for the morning school run.  The morning conversation with DH went something like this:

DH: "Why do you dress up soooo much for a 10 minute outdoor time?" (I took about 5 minutes to dress up and it's not a 10 minute outdoors time ;)!)

Me: In that 10 minutes, about 100 parents and 10 teachers see me!  I can't dress sloppy.

DH: *smile*

I don't think this outfit is overly dressy?  Do you?    My inspiration pic is attached as well (pic 1)   I am wearing skinny jeans (Next/old), sheer button down (DH bought from HK), faux fur chevron striped vest, with my F21 cut out boots.  Seriously these boots are the best money invested ever!!  Super comfy all day boots for me .... from F21

Outfit 2 - What I wore on my birthday for a small drive to a local mall, where they had the monthly art market going on.  It's a place for the local crafters to sell their products.  It was such a fun evening!  There is so much talent in the world .. I was blown over by all the beauties that people had hand crafted.  DH bought this polymer clay hand made necklace from a stall there because he thought it matched my outfit that day  Needless to say .... I was smitten  Bonus  .... it glows in the dark ... I won't get lost ever

I was wearing my cut off jeans shorts (cheap brand), frilly burgundy tunic top (If you remember I had said this top was a bit too cute for me.  I have now removed the rosettes from this top, to make it more wearable pic 6) and my burgundy F21 boots with gold buckles (F21/last season, no rave comfort reviews here!  It is an ok pair).

So how did I do?  All suggestions for improvement are very welcome  Thanks for looking and commenting x

ETA: My trusty house slippers - crocs, finally gave way after 4 years of non stop service and comfort. RIP my beloved crocs .. Suz ... I hope you are listening
