WIWX2 and a KR blouse

I spent the day shopping with a friend of mine. She was looking for dresses but of course we browsed through everything and I found this VC hi-lo top which fit my need for summer color and edge. Your thoughts?

Also two WIWs.

1. Silver and gold: Old Hinge sweater, BR ankle pants, F21 necklace, Born shoes (I hate these - they scuff more every time I wear them!). Are these proportions weird?

2. To shop today: Current/Elliott sweatshirt, EF harem pants, Allsaints studded flats.

The colors of the blouse in your picture are much more vivid! I like it on you, I say keep. Love outfit 3, I can't really make out the shoes but I like the color and shine they provide.

The stock pic is terrible - the colors are actually much more like my picture, almost but not quite neon. This blouse runs big too - I got an XS and it fit my shoulders! Are the sleeves okay or too widening?

That VC top is gorgeous. I love the print, and I am not a fan of prints.

Love the print with your black leather skirt, and think it looks better with black than the white bottom of the stock picture. I think the sleeves work on you, highlighting your toned arms. They set this tee apart from the sea of other tees out there. Love #3.

Great new top! I think the sleeves are fine. I didn't notice them, because I was so focused on the beautiful print, the high-low hem, and how slimming the overall look is.
Your outfits are great too. That's a bummer about the shoes, because they look really neat. I like your harem pants outfit and see no proportion issue.

I noticed the sleeves right away. To me they just look big around the openings and like they aren't laying down very well - are they? The colors are perfect on you.

The new top is great. I love the metallic shoes in #2, too bad about the scuffing. I also like how the necklace and shoes bookend each other.

Marley, the sleeves are kind of a long flutter sleeve - I'm not sure why they don't look the same on the model because they are cut like a bell. I think this is how they are meant to be - my concern is that on an IT it might be an issue.

Oh, I like that top much better IRL than the stock photo. Looks great on you. Also really liking your two WIW's, and think the proportions in the first are fine. What are you questioning?

Also great to see the harem pants in action - I wore mine in public over the weekend (DD called them floofy pants - didn't go over very well with her )

Great outfits - love the one with the ankle pants esp. I like the new bright top - I think it suits you, has a bit of edge, and makes me feel happy to look at it. The last outift is a great look too - love that CE sweatshirt!

Angie, this is an XS. However any smaller and I would not be able to move my arms. I'm amazed the shoulders fit. Does it look too big? My friend approved it in the dressing room.

I think the top fits as it supposed to fit...If it were tighter, then you would loose the effect...I love it with the leather skirt and as my sweet Mom would say...Just leave it alone..

I love the colors too!

I am curious about what makes this look too big as opposed to boho flowy. Is it the sleeves or something else? If there's something I can learn for future reference that would be helpful.

Love both outfits (especially #3). Would also like to see more photos of the flowered blouse. It looks like it's a bit big, but I know how tough those oversized/flowy items are to photograph.

What Joy said--perfect colored top for you and better contrasted with black. I want! Sounds like shoulders would be too big for me and the colors are probabaly better on you, but how fab for summer to liven up black basics?

I know you said in your other thread that you are returning the blouse. I like it on you actually but agree it seems a bit large with how it's styled here. Now I'm worried because I ordered it myself, before seeing either of your posts, and I can't remember wheeler i sized up or not. I'll report whether I have the same issue.

Proportions not weird! I promise! I love the edgy floral, this is so you. And why the heck not wear a leather mini in summer.... I am glad you returned the other stuff, this one thing is more up your alley.

Kari, I think the issue for me was the shoulders and the neckline was a little high when I tried it again. This color will be stunning on you!
