Wow, such a great subtle and glamorous detail (feathers on the cufs!) and what a great oportunity to wear your fascinator! And, I see your hair is back to darker! Great contrast with your face!
Fun fact:-I never was to races:-( but DD(still student) did go for a derby at Kincsem Park (The hub of Central-European horse racing-in Budapest)
with her friends on this exact past Sunday for the first time in her life-as they celebrated a birthday. We jocked a lot about what attire they should dress as they probably won't let them enter without proper outfits....and hats!:-) It turns out proper dressy outfits are required only for the winners circle for normal races but generaly to all attendants when highlighted events.
Here's what they found at the entrance about the minimum standards for the winners circle:
-ladies- skirts, trousers-full length, polo necks/collared shirts& blouses
-gentlemen-closed shoes, trosers full-length, , polonecks or collard shirts.
Sandals, mules, shorts, shirts sans collars, tee shirts, or tanks NOT ALLOWED.
More elegant/Dressier than that - for all the special events.
Red fonts are saying:
If your outfit doesn't meet the standards you are kindly asked to stay away of (aka pls. don't step in) the winners' circle.
Dresses and hats seem to be left out somehow(??)-or those are supposedly already included in the more dressy/elegant and not listed cause self evident?
