Hi there, here is outfit from a shopping day with my sis - simple and casual. I went with a strict list of what I could and, more importantly, could not buy (t-shirt and basic v-necks!!). I came home with:

• Flat lace-up boots to sort of replace my riding boots.
• A winter-white cable knit sweater with some zipper detail to wear with a few colored bottoms I have that are somewhat orphaned for lack of anything I'm happy to wear them with.
• A faux leather-and-suede vest to add some interest to my plethora of basic jeans and a sweater outfits, for casual date night or girls night out. A bit of wild card, so we'll see.

My next step, following a good closet edit completed late last week and this round of shopping is to try to wear as many different fall/winter things as I can and have some fun and learn from my current closet. I don't think I'll do any more shopping in earnest until I'm ready to tackle the spring/summer clothing season.
