31st wedding anniversary coming up on Tuesday and a few days later we are watching a play (Noises Off). So I rented this dress from Rent The Runway for both occasions. I knew the weather would be in the 100's so this strappy dress that didn't need a slip looked like a good option. Had to try it on right away and post it here!
I'm going to try to iron the curled edges down before the anniversary dinner but the reviews did say that the hem wants to curl so no biggie if it doesn't stay straight.
1) I use this blush shimmer scarf a lot with strappy tops since I have broad shoulders. Does the scarf and sandals work with the dress? Color or neutral for the pedicure?
ETA: Towards the end of the night with the scarf version, I was starting to feel like the outfit was more like a costume. As if I was an aunt from the old country. : )
2) So for the play, I tried the dress with a cream denim vest and brown Dansko sandals. I felt 100 percent better in this version!
