My dad died today. I do the year of black when a loved one dies as my way of saying that they mattered. So I'm ending one small closet and beginning another. My brother passed away in May of 2012, and I did the year for him. I only got to wear color in the summer. I didn't always wear head to toe black but it was the foundation of my outfits. I went to thrift stores and bought anything that was black at the time. My closet has become much more current and I've let most of that go in the big purge.
This time around I'm going to be a very stylish (for me) mourner and stick to PPP. I looked at the Angie pick VC coated skinnies but they didn't have my size so I'm going to order online. Does any one have any other ideas for me?
