WIW...Vegas baby! - YouLookFab Forum

I apologize that I've been scarce around here lately. We've been busy with summer activities, and my WIW's have been less than inspiring. Nonetheless, on Sunday afternoon we dropped the kids off at summer camp, then raced to the airport to catch a flight to Vegas! Spur of the moment trip - just a few days to rest and recharge. So here are a couple of WIW's to two of our amazingly fantastic dinners out.
#1- black dress WHBM, Okala pumps, BR clutch
#2 - Team Wear!!! Brand new AllSaints black dress purchased the night before - yay!! Absolutely LOVE this dress. I've been on the lookout for a simple black dress with some drape in the front for ages. When I found this I pounced. So soft and comfy too Worn with the same Okala pumps & BR clutch
#3-4 - Whilst shopping in Allsaints I spied this top that Angie had recommended to me on the Finds feature quite awhile ago.I already had the dress, but since I had the green light to shop while DH was gambling in the casino below, I snapped it up... I tried it on back at the hotel with my white jeans and Okalas. I think I'm going to wear this a lot. I love it already. Apparently it's dry-clean only so you might see me wearing a bib in my WIWs...
Now that I'm back I have a list miles long of house chores to tackle before the kids come home. In the meantime I'm having a little procrastination time/ playtime on YLF. Hope everyone is well

ETA: I also included a couple items I quickly nabbed at Nordstrom while we were passing through last night. It pained me a bit since I know I missed these on sale during NAS, but I've tried on the pleione top before and regretted not buying it. I also keep missing the boat on the VC skirt. I have a black one in a thicker ponte knit, but I know I'll get lots of wear out of this striped one for the balance of the summer. I have lots of good inspiration for that skirt here on the forum

Sounds like a great little weekender trip! You look gorgeous in both black dresses, but the new AS dress is really stunning. That drape works sooo well for you. The tee also looks fab, and your other Nordies finds, as you said, look like they'll be perfect for the balance of summer. I'm wearing my tube skirt today (I got the houndstooth) ^^

I adore the All Saints top too, and it has been on my wish list for a while, but I can not really justify it. So has the white Pleione top Your post is choke full of items I have been wanting.

That all saints dress is stunning on you. Will it replace the other black dress or do you feel they are different enough to keep both? Love the top...if only I could find something like that here. It look cool (stylewise) and comfy and easy to wear. Great purchases.

AMAZING! We may have been in Allsaints at the same time! I tried on that dress and found it much too confining but I would have bought it in a heartbeat if it had fit.

Oh, and I don't know how you rest and recharge in Vegas - I came back more tired than when I left! Of course, I'm playing blackjack till 4 a.m....

I am thinking that everything looks good on you Jackie. Both dresses are gorgeous and they are sufficiently different to not fight for the same place in the closet. I really like the B&W top with the white pants too and envy you that you can wear the Okalas.
