this is an outfit i'm trying to pull together for a christening on sunday.what do you think?does it need a statement necklace to tie in the trousers and bag? does the bag fit in with the outfit? i like the colour of the bag.
any suggestions welcome .

Gorgeous outfit! I have no idea what the dress code is for a christening and I bet it diiffers across the world, but this is a KILLER look nonetheless.

well this christening is a small one only fifty guests and the weather forcast is not good for sunday so i thought trousers would be ok.does it need anything else?

I don't think it's too casual and I love the colour palate. The shoes and clutch definitely dress it up a notch IMHO. You could always wear 'dressy make up' if you still feel unsure though you look fab just the way you are here . Enjoy the day.

This seems too casual for a christening in my neck of the woods, but that varies so much by region. I like the blues together and the textured shirt, so pretty. The shoes bookend your hair nicely.

For my crowd, christening is done within the regular church service, and our church is pretty casual for dress. So this would be absolutely great, even more than enough--it looks pretty (ooh, funny word!) and celebratory and as though you cared. If for some reason yours is some kind of more formal social event, that may be a different issue.
