Thanks to all the fabbers who provided feedback during my NYE outfit lab. I ended up with a cream coloured Karl Lagerfeld button down with a placket that hid the buttons. It had a soft drape rather than being stiff, so no 'popped' collar. 2 pearl necklaces resulted in a 4 strand 'pile of pearls'.
Nude micro fishnets, Anne Klein patent pumps, and a gold bag completed the look.
The outfit was comfortable, and I felt like me. I was pleased with the number of compliments I received!! Pics below are just after we got back from the party.
