WIW...this week: variations on a theme

Short work week, what with Monday being a Holiday in Canada, and taking tomorrow and a few days next week off. Wore variations of the same 'uniform' a pencil skirt with a jean-style jacket.

The closet is working out very well with lots of easily interchangeable pieces. The core is black, grey, navy and jean, and white. I started adding white last year starting with the white jean jacket and white shorts. Have added white jeans recently. I don't have bold patterns, but I do like to pattern mix. The Ikat jacket ($17 at Winners last summer -100% cotton) is a fab piece to work with a signature piece for me now.

Oh I love the pattern mixing in #2, it's bold and beautiful! Stripes mix very well with other patterns, and I find myself pattern mixing with them often. That skirt in #3 always catches my eye, and it looks fab paired with the white jacket.

Thumbs up for all three from me. You have a great 'formula' and it works beautifully. The colours, textures and pattens give tons of variety. I think my favourite is probably #3, but I had difficulty choosing. YLF!

I love this uniform. The proportions work so well on you, and the modern jackets in all three pictures make you look current and stylish. I love the classic but modern feel of #1 (the shine on that skirt is fantastic) and the pattern-mixing of #2 is amazing.

Nice looks! The red stripe shirt with Ikat jacket is the best in my eye! You are inspiration, as these outfits are my style ideal for summer office wear at my business casual job.

You're lookin good, the wardrobe is definitely working for you! The soft moody floral with dark supporting cast in #1 is lovely. Fun print mix and fresh colors in #2. And #3 has just the right amount of ladylike+sass.
