WIW...the sisterhood of the Canadian Tire white belt!

I've been travelling a lot recently for work, and tomorrow I'm heading out with sons x 2 in tow for a race in Ottawa, and a visit with my Mom. I've been working at dressing nice everyday, because it has been so grey and cold outside. Colourful fashion can at least bring me a little happiness.

While travelling, I've been shopping. Tried lots of stuff, but find I'm pickier. It's got to be a '10'. I refuse to settle for less. Picked up navy trousers, a navy dress, and new shoes.

I have joined the sisterhood of the Canadian Tire white belt, though! You can't beat real leather at < $10!

Thanks for looking and comments/suggestions welcomed. The beads are an approximation of the popular bubble necklaces that abound. The S/A's up here have never heard of them, and when I show them pics copied from Pinterest, they just shrug and shake their heads.

Pil, I wore this jacket on both business trips, using it as a topper with the stripped top and a black pencil skirt, as well as other combinations. At the end of week two, a guy exiting the elevator mis- managed his shoulder bag and bumped me hard, resulting in spilled coffee on the jacket. He didn't notice, but some ladies on the elevator helped me mop up. When I got home, I tossed it in the wash, et voila! Good as new. I was worried, 'cause it is not true denim. There is some synthetic in it. Shouldn't have worried. Anyway, if I posted all my WIW, you would see this jacket so much, you would be tired of it!

Ceit, better hurry! Word is getting out.

Caro, # 3 is 100% comfort/happiness factor. I have the same capris in purple, and in bottle green, but fear they will be worn out within the year.

Sometimes I wonder about SA's, today I went to Zara and asked a SA about a kimono style jacket that they sell and she looked at me like if I was talking another language.
