WIW...some olive chino outfits

This week I challenged myself to create outfits using items from my olive capsule. Besides a dress, and two tops, I have these olive chinos from 2018 with 40 wears since I started counting January 2019. I thought I might have ruined them for nicer casual outfits when I wore them for a week-long gardening project that was dirty and rough, but they came through the wash just fine. They are the kind of pants that wear their patina of age well and can be dressed up or dressed down.

#1 had a dental appointment, so dressed up a bit using a combo figured out during an outfit creation session earlier this year

I wore them with a green sweater and my new snakeskin Converse for a hike along the shores of Lake Ontario, but didn’t get a picture.

These are great, versatile pants that fit you very well, so no wonder they can be worn in many ways. I like all the outfits, and my favorite is the 2nd one, simple yet very sophisticated.

I am, however, smitten with your snakeskin Converse! Are they of the old school kind, where the sole is pretty flat and hard, or one of those newer ones where the sole has more padding and cushioning? If the latter, I am going to try to find them myself.

@ Tanya - I think they are more old school than new. The inner sole is/was more padded than the absolute flat ones, but I replaced them with my favourite Superfeet inner sole. They are heavier and sturdier than my other Converse, with a more substantial sole and leather upper - and I like them a lot for long walks.

The black canvas (Finds below) are definitely old school, and the white ones have a super cushy inner sole that makes them especially comfortable when wearing sock-less. The snakeskin ones are somewhere between the two.

Great pants - look good in every outfit! My favorite is #3 - light colors in the sweatshirt look amazing with your hair ( and I like relaxed-sporty vibe ).

I have come to value olive and have three pair of possible summer pants that color. I especially like yours rolled up a bit on the legs, so less chino-ish. I need to look for tops for my olive for summer other than contrasting colors or neutrals. YLF!
