I know, I know, I said that there would be no more work wear purchases, but lessons learned during the 30x30 challenge was buying for the life you lead (and I spend 60 hours a week doing the commute and work - 7 am to 7 pm), and I was probably getting a little too casual for my office norm with my pre-retirement experiments.

This skirt is new, inexpensive ($20.) and made in Canada! It is lightweight, so better than my white denim skirt for really hot days. I have worn it twice - once with a blush lace tank, and as pictured below with a cream lace tank. It works with a maroon tank as well as black t-shirts and a drapey cream long sleeve button down. I really like the pattern and colours (ivory, black, peach, maroon, lilac).

Skirt - Jules and Leopold
Lace tank - Suzy Shier
Jean jacket - MWWH
Black patent loafers (Odette) - Coach
