I'm continuing with my capsule dressing. So far it's only been fun, and getting dressed is quick and easy. I don't feel I need anything else, but then it's only been a couple of days of course. If you missed yesterday's post you can see it here.
Today I'm posting two days of outfits for Friday & Saturday (I won't have time for pics tomorrow, I think). Our weather is going on just as nasty as yesterday, but the temperatures are rising slightly so we now only have bucket loads of rain, no more snow fortunately. This means lots of wool.
#1-2: U/Capsule 10.17
Today I'm at home, packing the last content from our closets into boxes. Tomorrow we will send the excess to the landfill. I've been keeping our closets tidy (edited often), so the redundant load isn't overly big, thanks for that. I also have a quick errand to run for groceries.
Outfit: Cream chunky sweater, white slim jeans, snake pattern belt, birkies / parka, rain boots, plaid scarf, fingerless mittens, black tote
This feels ultra comfortable and so easy to wear. ETA: Look at this pin, found on Refinery29 today!
#3-5: U/Capsule 10.18
Tomorrow I'll continue with the relocation work. In the afternoon I'll meet my relatives for coffee, and in the evening I'm seeing a good friend for some pizza and knitting. She certainly knows how to wear a skirt, so I'll be wearing one for her.
Outfit 1 (daytime): Grey cashmere v-neck, light blue cashmere scarf, black bomber, cognac belt, blue slim jeans, b/w Adidas sneakers, cognac messenger bag
Outfit 2 (evening): Inspired by the red, burgundy, white and toffee ensemble - cream sweater, dark burgundy skirt, red coat, cognac boots & bag, fingerless mittens. Black pumps when indoors.
I had a lot of fun putting together these outfits, and I particularly liked the skirt version very much myself. Do you think the proportions work, or is the sweater to chunky for the full skirt?
Thanks for looking! All comments are of course welcome.
