I was not going to post these WIWs. I really wanted to take a full length shot of my outfit on Wed. because I was so tickled with the Macy's peplum sweater recommended in Angies 9/5 post and because I am totally loving my Aimee Kestenberg leather backpack and havent' let it out of my sight since it arrived from Lord & Taylor.

The day went by, metro, rental car, flights, Uber and I never got more than a couple of blurry waist-up shots. When I saw today's ensemble I decided to post anyway.

I bought 2 colors of this sweater and am so glad. I've always shied from this style, as I don't like to bring extra attention to the geography around my hips/tush, but have to agree with Angie that it made my waist look small and really balances out the skirt. Simple outfit, pencil skirt, sweater, backpack was just great for travel.

I vow to get my tripod out. The backdrop of the woods is going to get very pretty in the next few weeks, I have no excuse.

Have a good weekend all. It's my last training ride before the 100 mile ride on 10/3 for which my son and I have trained with Team in Training and raised several thousand dollars for the Leuekmia and Lymphoma Society. It's been the best part of summer, besides our trip to Seattle Janet - we need a plan for Seagull, we are going to meet in our glam bike shorts!
