WIWs - one that worked, one that did not, and one for the weekend

A couple of WIWs from this week + WIWearing today for running errands (#4). I have been wearing the Petty booties in taupe so much that I decided to buy another pair in black. I hope the suede will last for a reasonable amount of time - I don't have much experience with suede booties.

This is the first time for me wearing a skirt with high contrast booties, and I was surprised how much I like the result. It is getting colder so pretty soon I will need to figure out the hosiery issue but for now I was good with bare legs. What do you think?

The second outfit I liked in the mirror but when I got home and took a picture I realized it wasn't all that good. The grey in the bag does not quite work with the top (I think I need to pair my navy or red bag with this top for a more contrasting look), and the length looks borderline too short for pants. I guess I will continue wearing it with skirts (as in another WIW from a couple of weeks ago, #3).

My main question is what do you think about the length of the jeans - should I hem them shorter, is it too much scrunch? I have another pair of these jeans hemmed for flats (#4) - are these better with booties or too short? Do I need an in-between length?

#3 - VC tube skirt, same t-shirt, American Eagle jean jacket, Cole Haan wedge.

#4 - GAP real straights, same booties, Olivia Moon sweatshirt, Spiegel jacket.

I like your outfit 2 -- it doesn't come across as a miss to me. I like the booties with the tapered midi also!

I love all of these. The top in 2 doesn't look too short to me. I think the jeans are close to being perfect--it's hard to tell from the photo but I can see on the back leg how the fabric buckles a bit. That happens with some of my straight leg jeans too and I'm too lazy to hem. Perhaps with washing they will shrink up a bit. Love the high contrast skirt with booties in 1. LOVE 3 and 4 too. That Spiegel looks amazing on you!

Love all your outfits! Number 1 is a killer! I am no expert in PPLs. But I dont see anything wrong with those jeans.

I really like #2! I think the length of the top is fine, and the jeans too. I like the scrunch.

Love #1 and #3 tube skirts look fabulous on you! The jeans in #2 are too long -- they "break" in too many places. In #4 they look like the perfect length. I adore cobalt so I am biased in favor of those outfits and #3 has a slight edge because it has the white jacket that looks so crisp against the gray patterned top.
