WIW...red for a rainy day

Cold and rainy day, but I have errands to run! Can't call this French Girl style just 'cause I'm wearing a beret! Besides, would any self respecting French Girl wear a puffer?

Beret - Parkhurst (made in Canada!)
Puffer - Lands' End
Mariner T - Armor Prop
Jeans - Hanna Highrise/MWWH
Sneakers - Converse
Socks - Smartwool

I'm looking for a plaid blanket scarf with cream background to wear with this puffer. Something like pic #3 but with more white/cream? Do you think it would work? Are they still a thing or a fad?

Great jacket, Carla! Do you have a Find for it? I like the collar (and the colour).

I think a blanket scarf could totally work with this. They're still around. Current but maybe not a trend?

Suz - from last year, but on the site I note it is still available in limited sizes. (Pic #1) The colour is a true bright red, not the coral that appears in the site pic. I got it during a 40% off sale that LE has fairly frequently.

It may have been 'replaced' by a newer down version (pic #2)

I'm on iPad and have not been able to instal the FINDS gizmo.

I like this! I also think a blanket scarf would be a cute add-on ....and they are most certainly still current . I have a Canadian line of alpaca scarves and blankets, and am selling a TON of big alpaca oversized scarves to retailers right now.

Gorgeous outfit. What a great idea to wear red on a grey and rainy day! (Personally, I love to see umbrellas in other colours than black, too.) The scarf would be a chic, smart and fun addition. The pattern looks timeless to me.

How wonderful. Reminds me of a girl who came into the bakery with a cherry red puffy. It was Just So. I had to compliment her. We had a nice discussion about puffies, lol.

Your outfit is perfect! The scarf would look nice, too. It depends on how blankety it is, though. I had a super cute blanket scarf that I just couldn’t make work. It felt like it was an actual blanket. So I donated it.

That is such an excellent puffer, Carla! A gorgeous shade of red on you. Perfect with the sneaks, super fun with the beret, and the striped top makes it even better;-)

I think plaid blanket scarves are becoming a classic. Will have a look around for you too.
