From a few posts over the past year I've learned that more than a few fabbers own the Lululemon 'On The Fly' (OTF) pant. I got mine the summer of 2018 after LisaP featured them in a post. I was slow to get them in circulation last year, but this year they are getting LOTS of wear and have been promoted to the category of Most Valuable Player (MVP).
I have seen them as a wide trouser (no longer available?) and a cropped wide trouser (new?) but I believe the 7/8 leg length is the most common, and still available. The fabric is a stretchy synthetic that looks and feels like a polished silky woven - making it perfect for work, 'dressy', or casual equally. It has a wide, flat, stretchy waistband with an internal tie. The only issue I have is that the fabric is very light weight - so not warm enough for winter. I wash them in a regular wash and hang them to dry. 30+ wears and no signs of fading or wear.
Do you own a pair of OTF pants? How do you style yours?
I wore mine today for the library run along with other MVP's of the summer: Uniqlo Hakusai Blue t-shirt, and Skeecher canvas sneakers. Also dark floral back pack from Hershel Hoffman Colaboration.
